Natasha Samoylenko, a self-taught fashion designer, began her creative
career while studying package design at SVA. After many years as a
graphic designer, Natasha launched Samoy Lenko. Through her designing
she strives to reinvent the vestments of the feminine form with whimsy,
grace, simplicity and ease of movement. She has found inspiration for her
collection from Japanese kimonos, traditional Ukrainian costumes (her
heritage), architecture, industrial design and menswear textiles.

Approaching design by asking “What would happen if I turn this 
insideoutupsidedown?” Natasha sees each collection as an artistic 
medium of expression and storytelling.
